Wow, can not believe I’ve not posted since September, not my intention, at all. I did however just get back from a glorious trip to Guam, a beachy vacation & a far cry from Japan. I was very happy there and in all honesty, was sad to come back aside from the fact I missed my husband, my fur-babies and my friend Sarah, lol.
Really though I am kinda happy to be back, my baking has been lacking and I also have several posts I need to write about stuff I’ve made recently. Now with Thanksgiving & Christmas coming, my blog should explode with almost daily yumminess, for sure!
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Any special plans? Is it all on you to make & bake or is someone else doing all the work? We actually will be sharing our Thanksgiving with the single sailors & unaccompanied sailors on the base. I will be baking sweet treats of course and my husband will be creating some side dishes. I really love giving of myself on these holiday’s.
We also have been invited to a Thanksgiving dinner at a friends home later on in the day since we are doing more of a brunch for the sailors. We may or may not go over, we shall see. I am starting to plan my Christmas baking. I will be doing 25 Days Of Christmas Cookies here on my blog starting on December 1st! So stay tuned!!
My plan for the new year…yes, I am thinking ahead…is to blog more, bake more…Does it suck that I am already dreading next summer here….pure misery and a reason I can’t bake, lol. Well I have several happy baking months before that hell comes upon us here again. Happy Early Thanksgiving 🙂
