Christmas Peppermints

  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese, softened (room temperature)
  • 2 Pounds (32 ounces) Powdered Sugar
  • ¼ Teaspoon or more to taste Peppermint Extract or any flavor you like
  • Food Coloring, any color
  1. Mix all the ingredients to together in a bowl, add the amount of peppermint to suit your taste. Knead together until smooth.
  2. Roll 1 teaspoon of the “dough” into a ball.
  3. Place the balls on a cookie tray lined with wax paper.
  4. Continue making balls until all the dough is used up.
  5. Let mints air dry, flipping them over intermittently for even drying.
  6. The mints will be dry on the outside but still soft on the inside.
