Olive Garden Breadsticks

  • ¼ cup Butter, melted
  • 1 cup plus 1 tablespoon warm Water
  • 3 cups Bread Flour
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons Salt

  • Topping:
  • 2 tablespoons Butter, melted
  • Garlic Salt or Garlic Bread Topping
  1. Put ingredients into bread machine in the oder of: Liquids, Dry, Yeast.
  2. Press Start on your machine. Depending on your machine this can take 1.5 to 2 hours.
  3. When finished remove the dough and measure out 2 ounce portions or make a log and cut into 12-13 even pieces.
  4. Roll dough in-between your hands or on the countertop to form sticks that are around 7 inches long.
  5. Place the dough on parchment paper-lined cookie or baking sheets; cover and set aside for 1 to 1½ hours, or till the dough doubles in size.
  6. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  7. Bake the breadsticks for 12-18 minutes, or till golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and immediately brush each breadstick with melted butter, then sprinkle with a little garlic salt or the garlic bread topping.
